Obama Wins - A Defining Moment in History

Barack Obama soundly defeated media favorite Hillary Rodham Clinton in the Iowa caucus. In a stunning upset to the media darling, aka Mrs. Clinton, Mr. Obama's grassroot campaign soundly defeated the Clinton machine.

The key issue was CHANGE. The public is apparently ready for a new direction, instead of the usual Washington insider blah blah blah. Obama stands for change and new leadership.

Despite Hillary's insistence that she is the candidate of experience, the voters in Iowa apparently did not bite the bait. Does serving as the First Lady to a sitting president constitute real experience? Although the pundits and media talking heads already had a coronation for Hillary, the people of Iowa stood up and made a historic decision.

Barack has real world experience fighting for the downtrodden and the poor. He was a community organizer in Chicago, constitutional law professor, civil rights attorney and is a sitting Senator. Obama has real experience and is able to inspire those not normally attached to any political candidate, both Republican or Democrat. Barack can win, yes he can!

Barack Obama made history and is now on his way to New Hampshire. As Barack says, " I am fired up! And I'm ready to go!"
