Who is 50 Cent?

Why is he Attacking Oprah?

By Tony “Rescue One Samuel”

Who the hell is 50 Cent? Does 50 Cent really have a beef with Oprah? I don’t think so! 50 Cent have a long established strategy of trying to foment trouble and therefore creating publicity for his next record. He has no beef with Oprah and is not even in her league.

Furthermore, I don’t see 50 Cent trying to get Oprah on his record. Oprah have a right to invite whoever she wants on her show. 50 Cent have a right to invite any artist to make a guest appearance on his album. In the immortal words of the Wendy’s commercial: Where is the Beef?

50 can invite Eminem or Dr Dre to his studio sessions. Oprah can invite Tom Cruise or Denzel Washington to Harpo studios. I really don’t care. There is no beef.

Why am I even writing about this? There is no beef! Peace!!!
The “N” Word is Still Alive!

Rappers and Comedians to Blame…

By Tony “Rescue One” Samuel

In the pursuit of riches, regardless of the detriment to society – rappers and comedians have kept the “N” word alive and thriving. Despite the history of this infamous word and the negative connotations, Hip Hoppas and comedians have embraced this word.

Is it stupidity or is it just the record companies thirst for profit at all cost that has kept this word alive in the rap industry? It seems that every rap song have the “N” word at least a half a dozen times. Record companies promote the vilest of the vile. From fake thug rappers to pseudo emcees – the rap game is currently a joke and needs to be reinvented. Despite the intentions of some to make the “N” word benign by embracing it, the word cannot escape its original intent.

It was and is a word that was designed to humiliate and ostracize an entire race of people, due to he color of their skin. Rappers and their handlers need to excise this word from every song and must be more responsible. The use of the “N” word is out of control and needs to be eliminated.

Now we have mainstream idiots, such as Michael Richards (a.k.a. “Kramer”) using the “N” viciously and attacking members of his audience with a racist and hateful tirade. I am very happy to say: I have never seen an episode of Seinfeld and will never support hate speech.
